Generate your QR code and download it ready to 3D print
Paste your link (restaurant menu, Google reviews, Instagram, wifi…), customize colors and shape, and download the image or a real 3D object — table stand, keychain, or plaque — with the colors already applied.
3D object to print
The 3MF includes both colors for your slicer (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Cura). The STL is single-color, for older software.
From idea to printed object, in 3 steps
Paste your link
Digital menu, Google reviews, Instagram, wifi, or your own website. Choose colors, shape, and a center logo or emoji.
Choose the object
Table stand, keychain, or wall plaque. Add a short text and check the contrast and size warnings.
Download and print
Download the 3MF with both colors already applied, open it in your slicer, and print. You can also download PNG or SVG.
What people use it for
Restaurants
Digital menu or "leave us a Google review" on a table stand.
Keychains for events
Link to the event website, a form, or a gift registry, as a physical keepsake.
Wifi for guest stays
A plaque with your wifi QR code so guests can connect without asking for the password.
Shops and fairs
Link your Instagram, catalog, or online store on a counter or display stand.
A QR generator built for 3D printing
Most QR code generators are built for screens only: you download a PNG and that's it. QR3D Studio goes a step further — it generates the same custom QR code you'd use on a website or a printed menu, but also turns it into a real 3D object, with the relief of the design you chose (rounded corners, dots, center logo) and two real colors applied: one for the base and one for the code.
Why contrast matters as much as design
A beautiful QR code that can't be scanned is useless. That's why the tool calculates the contrast between your two colors live (following the same luminance criteria used by web accessibility guidelines) and the size in millimeters of each code module based on the format and size you choose. If something won't work well when printed, we tell you before you download the file — not after you've already used filament.
3MF with real color, not just geometry
The STL format, the most common for 3D printing, doesn't store color information. 3MF does: it's a modern format (a ZIP with XML inside) that can describe several parts, each with its own color or material. QR3D Studio generates a 3MF with two parts — the base and the code relief — each with the exact color you chose, so when you open it in Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, or Cura, the model already appears colored and ready to assign two filaments.
Everything you need to know
Does the generated QR code work the same as a paid one?
Yes. It's a standard QR code (ISO/IEC 18004): any scanner on any phone reads it exactly like one made with paid tools. The only difference is the design — and here, you can also 3D print it.
What's the difference between downloading PNG, SVG, or the 3D file?
PNG and SVG are images for screens or printing (posters, menus, stickers). The 3MF/STL file is a real object: a stand, a keychain, or a plaque you can print on a 3D printer.
Why is the main file 3MF instead of STL?
3MF stores the two colors you choose (base and relief) inside the file itself. When you open it in your slicer (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Cura), it already appears colored and ready to print with two filaments. STL doesn't store color, so we offer it as an alternative for older slicers or printers.
How do I know if the printed QR code will be scannable?
The tool calculates the contrast between your two colors and the size of each QR module live. If the contrast is low or the modules are too small, we'll warn you before you download the file.
Do I need supports to print the table stand?
No. The table stand is designed with a flat base and an angle meant to print without supports on most FDM printers.
Can I put my business logo in the center of the QR code?
Yes, you can upload an image (it's automatically converted to a single-color silhouette for the 3D relief) or choose an emoji. You can also add a short text, like your business name.
What size should I print for it to work well?
We recommend each QR module measure at least 1.5 mm when printed. The tool shows you the size in millimeters based on the format and warns in red if it's too small.
Is my link or data uploaded to any server?
No. All the design, contrast calculation, and 3D file generation happen in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
